Welcome to my world! My name is Debbie and I’m excited to exchange thoughts, stories, and experiences with you. I have recently found more time on my hands and am excited to have conversations about life with you. There’s just so much going on in our world to talk about! Like you, I’ve had successes and I’ve had losses in my life. All my life I’ve been working hard and managing to keep up, but it doesn’t really change too much. I’m pretty much just an ordinary person, but I’ve figured out that I’m okay with that. There are more of us than any other kind of people!
We all spend so much time trying to change…to be richer, to be more attractive, to have more stuff. I’ve decided to rejoice in my status as an ordinary person. I’m figuring out that I’m quite happy to be here. There’s much less stress and work required when you decide to be happy right where you are. Don’t get me wrong; I’m still trying to get healthy, be fit, manage my stress, learn new things…but I’m no longer expecting miracles. I’ve decided to accept myself as an ordinary person. I’m a work in progress, but in the meantime, I am still going to be content!
